  2. No advance Galleri purchase necessary to enter. To enter without booking and scheduling an AHA, eligible entrants may mail their full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address to Medcan Attn: Marketing - 150 York St, Toronto, ON M5H 3S5. Mail-in entries must be received by August 31, 2026.  Limit of one entry per person (regardless of method of entry). Contest opens July 1, 2026 and closes on August 31, 2026.
  3. Individuals who book and complete an AHA between July 1 and August 31, 2026 will be automatically entered into the draw. Selected winners must attend Medcan Toronto or Medcan Oakville by November 30, 2026 to complete a consent form and undergo a blood draw required for the Galleri test. If a selected winner has already purchased the Galleri test as an add-on at the time of their AHA, that winner may choose either: (i) a credit back in the amount paid for the test if it was already purchased and completed during the contest period, or (ii) to transfer the test to another individual of their choosing. Any recipient of a transferred Galleri test must be over the age of majority and must attend Medcan Toronto or Medcan Oakville by November 30, 2026 to complete the required consent form and blood draw. For greater certainty, no credit, transfer, or prize fulfillment will be available unless all applicable requirements are satisfied by the specified deadline.
  4. There are ten (10) prizes to be won, each consisting of one (1) Galleri® multi-cancer early detection test by GRAIL (approximate retail value $1,995.00). Odds of winning depend on the number of entries. Any costs or expenses incurred by the winners in claiming or using their prizes will be the responsibility of the winners. Prizes must be accepted as awarded; no cash substitutes. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if stated prize becomes unavailable for reasons not related to the winner.
  5. A random draw will be held at 150 York St, Toronto, Ontario on September 3, 2026 from all valid entries received for the prizes.  Chances of winning any prize will depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
  6. Within the five (5) day period following the draw, Sponsor or its designated representative will attempt to contact the selected entrants by email to the email address you provided. In the event that, for any reason, Sponsor cannot contact a selected entrant within a  ten (10) business day period following the first notification, such selected entrant may be disqualified, and Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, conduct a new random drawing from all remaining eligible entries to identify another potential winner who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner. The Sponsor will not be responsible for selected entrants who cannot be contacted or who do not respond in a timely manner.
  7. Before being declared a winner and being awarded a prize, each selected entrant will be required to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question.  In addition, before being declared a winner and being awarded a prize, the selected entrant may also need to: (i) supply proof of age consisting of a legible photocopy of either a provincially issued driver’s license or other government issued identification; (ii) supply proof of address consisting of a legible photocopy of either a provincially issued driver’s license or other government issued identification. 8. Declining the prize, failing to correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question, failing to return the properly executed Release Form within the time period indicated on the Release Form, failing to attend at Medcan Toronto or Medcan Oakville to complete the consent form and blood draw by the required deadline or otherwise failing to comply with these Rules will cause the prize to be forfeited.
  9. Sponsor and its authorized agents will collect, use, and disclose the personal information entrants provide at the time of entry for the purposes of administering the Contest and prize fulfillment. By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising agencies, licensees, partners, and any other service providers related to the Contest and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all claims, cause of action, or liability, including, without limitation, any injury, death or damage to or loss of property, resulting from the participation in the Contest, use or misuse of any prize.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, if the Contest, or any part thereof, is impaired in any way for any reason or is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, programming errors, or technical failures, which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the operation, administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, void any entry and: (a) terminate this Contest, or any portion thereof; (b) modify or suspend the this Contest, or any portion thereof, to address the impairment and then resume the this Contest, or relevant portion, in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Rules; and/or (c) award the prizes from among the eligible entries received prior to the discovery of the issue, in accordance with the selection criterion set forth herein.
  13. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any contest-related materials, including but not limited to the contest entry form, or point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of these rules shall prevail, govern and control.
  16. All decisions of the contest judges will be final.

The Galleri test does not detect a signal for all cancers. Not all cancers can be detected in the blood. False positive and false negative results do occur. 1 in 100 can expect to receive a CSD result, and approximately 60% of these individuals will receive a confirmed cancer diagnosis. The overall sensitivity in study participants with head and neck cancer was 85.7% (63.2% for stage I, 82.4% stage II, 84.2% stage III, 96.0% stage IV).

Galleri is a screening test and does not diagnose cancer. Diagnostic testing is needed to confirm cancer. The Galleri test is not a genetic risk assessment and does not predict future genetic risk for cancer. The Galleri test does not detect a signal for all cancers and not all cancers can be detected in the blood. False positive and false/negative results do occur. Galleri should be used in addition to healthcare provider recommended screening tests.

Important Safety Information: The Galleri test is recommended for use in adults with an elevated risk for cancer, such as those age 50 or older. The test does not detect all cancers and should be used in addition to routine cancer screening tests recommended by a healthcare provider. The Galleri test is intended to detect cancer signals and predict where in the body the cancer signal is located. Use of the test is not recommended in individuals who are pregnant, 21 years old or younger, or undergoing active cancer treatment. Results should be interpreted by a healthcare provider in the context of medical history, clinical signs, and symptoms. A test result of No Cancer Signal Detected does not rule out cancer. A test result of Cancer Signal Detected requires confirmatory diagnostic evaluation by medically established procedures (e.g., imaging) to confirm cancer. If cancer is not confirmed with further testing, it could mean that cancer is not present or testing was insufficient to detect cancer, including due to the cancer being located in a different part of the body. False positive (a cancer signal detected when cancer is not present) and false negative (a cancer signal not detected when cancer is present) test results do occur.

Lab / Test information: The GRAIL clinical laboratory is certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA) and accredited by the College of American Pathologists. The Galleri test was developed and its performance characteristics were determined by GRAIL. The Galleri test has not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration. This test is not Health Canada or FDA approved, and has not been endorsed by any professional medical societies at this time. The GRAIL clinical laboratory is regulated under CLIA to perform high-complexity testing. The Galleri test is intended for clinical purposes.
