Medcan Dollars – a flexible option to help you prioritize your wellbeing, your way

Medcan Dollars are service credits included with select Medcan memberships or provided through special programs or promotions. They can be applied toward eligible Medcan services across our ecosystem. Please note they are applied as credits on your Medcan account and cannot be used as cash, gift cards, or rewards points.   

There are two ways you can receive Medcan Dollars: 

1. Dedicated Care and M Care members will receive a defined amount of Medcan Dollars as part of their annual membership benefits. For exact amounts, please consult your care team. If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact us at 416-350-5979 and we will be pleased to assist you. 
2. As part of a promotional offer.  

Medcan offers a full ecosystem of proactive health and wellness solutions to help you prioritize your wellbeing. Medcan Dollars can be applied towards most of our services, including:  

• The Annual Health Assessment, a full-body physician-led evaluation of your health 
• Enhanced Assessments including Heart Health, Longevity, and our Enhanced Genetic Screening services. 
• Personalized Fitness Training 
• Weight Management and Nutrition Programs 
• Women’s health programs including the Menopause and Perimenopause program 
• Men’s health programs 
• Home Sleep Study 
• Mental Health and Wellbeing services 
• Select Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Services, including Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, and more.  
• Specialist health services, such as travel health services 
• Retail Products  
• Services and products at Refine by Medcan – our full service cosmetic and medical dermatology clinic.   

There may be additional services you can use your Medcan Dollars that are not listed here. Please consult a Medcan Representative if you would like to confirm eligibility for another Medcan service. 

If you receive Medcan Dollars as part of a promotion, you can also apply them towards ongoing care memberships, including Year-Round Care, Dedicated Care, and M Care membership annual fees.*  

Excluded uses include: 

• Nourish by Medcan services and meals 
• Valet Parking
• Gift cards 
• Taxes, tips, or service fees 
• Cancellation or rescheduling fees  

You can redeem Medcan Dollars in two ways: 

1. Online through myMedcan, use as a payment method during checkout when booking or purchasing services. 
2. With a Medcan team member, who can apply your available balance at checkout.  

You can view your current balance and transaction history by logging into myMedcan and then clicking on My Profile and then Payment Details.  

Medcan Dollars expire 1 year from issuance, unless otherwise specified.   

Medcan Dollars may only be used by the original recipient and cannot be transferred to someone else.   

Medcan Dollars allocated as part of a Dedicated Care or M Care membership cannot be applied to the annual membership fee as the dollars will expire at the time of renewal.* If you receive Medcan Dollars as part of a promotional offer, that amount CAN be used towards your annual membership fee. 

If your membership includes Medcan Dollars as a benefit, you will receive them annually at renewal, as outlined in your membership plan or renewal notice.   

Any unused Medcan Dollars expire at the end of their expiry period. New Medcan Dollars are added at renewal if included in your membership. 

Medcan dollars are a credit on your account only and do not have any cash value. As such, they cannot be refunded and cannot be exchanged for other credits or benefits.  

As part of our Dedicated Care and M Care memberships, we are now including Medcan Dollars in place of pre-set wellness services to provide you with: 

• Greater flexibility in how you use your benefits 
• A more personalized health experience 
• Access to a broader range of services that matter most to you
