Dr. Jason Abrams
Vice President, Medical Affairs

Dr. Jason Abrams is the Vice President of Medical Affairs at Medcan Health Management Inc. (Medcan), where he is responsible for ensuring high standards of clinical quality, physician engagement, and alignment between medical practice and organizational strategy. With over 15 years of clinical experience at Medcan, Dr. Abrams represents the voice of the physician within the senior leadership team. 

Having previously served as Medcan’s Medical Director, Dr. Abrams is a pivotal part of the organization at both the clinical and corporate levels. As a physician, his philosophy centres on preventative care, ensuring Medcan clients can achieve and maintain their optimal health. He continues to provide Annual Health Assessment services while leading a Dedicated Care practice at the Toronto location.  

Dr. Abrams earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Western Ontario in 2007. In 2009, he completed his Family Medicine Residency at McGill University and furthered his education with a Foundation in Occupational Medicine Parts A and B at the University of Alberta. He holds both CCFP and ACBOM designations.
